Reviews and Ratings

Classic Californian Chardonnay with toast, oak and green apple aromas. Full-bodied, and generously layered. It's always handy to have some half bottles (375 ml) on hand for when you want to start with a glass of wine each, and then move on to another wine for the main course. Finishes with citrus fruits and baked bread. Pair with roast chicken or turkey. MINE: This Californian Chardonnay offers great value and taste in the glass. The XXXX vintage Chardonnay from the winery's Sonoma Coast vineyards is 94% barrel fermented, matured in 15% new French oak barrels, American oak barrels and bottled after 8 months. This Californian Chardonnay is popular with lovers of the genre. Light gold hue with aromas of citrus zest and baked bread. Toasty finish. OTHER: Offers complex fruit from the get-go, with tangerine, nectarine and white peach notes at the core. Lively acidity keeps the flavors moving. Drink now through 2022. Score - 90 (James Laube, winespectator.com, June 30, 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
