Lots of caramel and toffee on this buttery, oaky Californian Chardonnay that has balancing acidity and some apple notes. Full-bodied and smooth. Pair with roasted chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster in butter sauce, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

La Crema 2016 is a classic, buttery and oaky California Chardonnay from Monterey, California with tropical fruit flavours and a lot of toasty oak on the palate. Drink now and pair with roast chicken or hold in cellar for three years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
