Natalie's Score: 90/100

This WO-designated wine is smooth, smoky and delicious with full-bodied layers of fleshy black plums. Amazingly great price for the quality. This wine is a blend that leads with cabernet sauvignon, but also includes shiraz and merlot grapes. Just enough toasty oak aging to bring this whole delicious package together. Good finish. Try it tonight with meat lovers pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast beef, porchetta.

Reviews and Ratings

The three grapes in the blend of this full-bodied red wine are Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Shiraz, this the name Triptych. The wine was aged for 16 months in oak for extra toastiness and depth. This red wine is a robust blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Shiraz, 13% Malbec, 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc grapes. This wine was aged for 14 months in oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
