Kutjevo Premium Grasevina from Slavonia, Croatia is a medium-bodied, 100% Grasevina from the oldest continuously operating wine cellar in Croatia, fermented in stainless steel to preserve the grape's natural freshness and aromatics. On the nose it's clean and fragrant, with white nectarine, dried white blossom, crushed chalk, and a cool saline thread. The palate is crisp and focused, with lemon curd, green apple, with a long, mineral-driven finish with bright, energetic acidity. The Kutjevo wine cellars were founded in 1232 by Cistercian monks, the same order that identified Grand Cru sites in Burgundy and planted the first vineyards in the Mosel Valley, making this one of the most historically significant wine cellars in central Europe. The estate is guided by a new generation of winemakers carrying on nearly 800 years of winemaking tradition in Slavonia. Drink it now through 2028 with pan-fried pork medallions in cream sauce, where the wine's bright acidity cuts through the richness, or try it with aged Gouda and honeycomb, where its almond bitterness and minerality play beautifully against the sweetness of the cheese.

Grasevina food pairings: Pan-fried pork medallions with cream sauce, aged gouda with honeycomb, smoked trout with cucumber, chicken schnitzel with lemon.
