A simple tasty red with smooth texture with fresh red berry aromas. Soft tannins and a little spiciness on the finish.

Zweigelt food pairings: cheese and ham carbonara, paghetti bolognese with a healthy dose of parmesan cheese, goats cheese and game meats.

Reviews and Ratings

This wine has been blended to capture the soft, subtle depth of its component varietals. Aromas of tricoloured peppercorns hang over notes of raspberry and bitter cocoa. On the palate, a refrain of pepper and soothing warmth turns to cherry licorice and vanilla.

It is easy to see why the Zweigelt grape has been a staple for Konzelmann for nearly twenty years! A dominant scent of tri-coloured peppercorns hang over
subtle notes of raspberry and bitter cocoa. On the palate, there is a refrain of pepper and a soothing warmth which give way to an exchange between tart cranberry and a
touch of juicy sweetness.
