This Georgian late-harvest wine is made from the country's indigenous Saperavi grape, whose name means "paint dye" due to its naturally dark colour. The "Kindzmarauli" designation means this wine is of high quality and is naturally semi-sweet. Lightly chill and pour with blue-veined cheeses and dark chocolate desserts.

Kindzmarauli food pairings: sweet and warm curry dishes, spicy dark chocolate, chocolate covered ginger.

Reviews and Ratings

Kindzmarauli United Stars 2018 Saperavi is lush with dark and red berry fruit. Easy to enjoy and great with meaty stews with dried berry or apricot fruit, sweet and spicy pork ribs and blue cheeses A late-harvest, semi-dry produced from select indigenous Saperavi grapes, which translates to 'paint or dye' and refers to the deep colour of the wines it produces. Wine grapes are grown in Kindzmarauli PDO know as the "royal vineyards." Kindzmarauli is highly regarded as one of the top wines of Georgia, a country with an astounding 8,000-year wine history. - Community Wine Reviews
