As long as you're prepared for the sweetness in this red, you'll enjoy it. It's savoury and tasty and ripe red berry fruit. Great for meaty dishes with a touch of sweetness to them or a glaze.

Food pairings: spicy red curry dishes, chili-infused dark chocolate.

Reviews and Ratings

This late-harvest wine is built around Georgia’s native Saperavi grape, a dense, dark hued variety whose name translates as “paint dye.” The designation “kindzmarauli” here indicates that the wine was aged for 2 years before release. Opens to lovely cherry, berry jam and raisin notes with floral accents. Medium-sweet and mouthfilling with a grapey, sweet-berry core. Nicely balanced throughout. Good value. Sip after a meal.
