Very pleasant and medium-bodied Californian Cabernet, with cedar and cassis aromas and flavours. Concentrated and balanced with a satisfyingly long finish. Great for entertaining and dinner parties. Pair with a hanger steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: autumn hodge-podge, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Consistent quality and craftsmanship from this staple winery in California. Dark ruby and medium+ body with aromas and flavours of cherry, black raspberry, cassis, leather, charred wood, vanilla, graphite. Bright acidity and chewy tannins round out the profile. The length is medium with a tart cherry(or cranberry) finish. Perfect hamburger wine. Something to look forward to after a long Canadian winter. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years.
Tasted: March 2015
Tarang rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Berry, smooth
The Cabernet grapes for this Californian wine are sourced throughout Sonoma County. After aging in small oak barrels, individual lots are blended into the final wine. Finishes with dark spices. - Community Wine Reviews
