Produced by Montes, this is savoury, dark plum and cedar brush nose on this full-bodied well-priced Argentine red wine blend. Lots of mocha and dark chocolate on the nose and palate from generous oak aging. this wine was matured in oak barrels for 10 months, both new and used French oak. Pair with chorizo sausages or jambalaya.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: game burgers, beef steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Bob Williams rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I really like this wine, the chocolate notes are very forward and there's a definite sweetness to go with an easy drinking smoothness.
The Terroir Series was formerly known as Kaiken's Corte line of wines. This is the winery's terroir series. This robust Argentine red wine was aged for 10 months in French new and used oak barrels. It's a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes along with 12% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot grapes. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
