Reviews and Ratings

Riesling, a cool-climate grape, is perfectly suited to be grown and produced here in the
Niagara Region.

WINEMAKER NOTES
Kacaba Winemaker John Tummon has the philosophy that the Reserve Riesling should
have minimal handling. This minimal approach starts in the vineyard with hand
harvesting to assure quality of fruit. Next all grapes undergo a gentle whole bunch
pressing, all which happens within minutes of the grapes being picked. Next the juice is
cold settled in stainless steel tanks then racked away from its solids and inoculated with select yeast. Following fermentation, the wine is allowed to settle at cold temperatures to aid clarication before filtering and bottling. This is wine in its purest form – elegant and stylish – from the vine to the glass.

TASTING NOTES
Alluring and exotic with notes of ripened peach, mango and fresh lime. An explosion of
flavour with fresh balanced acidity, a truly impressive wine.

CELLARING POTENTIAL:
The finesse and elegance of this wine makes it ideal for immediate appeal. Aging over 6-8
years will see the added dimensions and complexity.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
