Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Kabang Red from the renowned Stratus winery, is a blend of Merlot, Cab Franc, Cab Sauv, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Gamay, and Tannat. Pretty much every big red varietal they could get their hands on and the result is a very complex, interesting, big Canadian red. Nose shows cedar, vanilla, berry compote, sweet spice and herbs. Big on the palate, this is a full bodied wine that delivers on taste, quality, and value. Big Kabang for the buck! Decant for an hour prior to service and enjoy with hearty beef dishes, BBQ meats, or rich cheese platters. 90 points. Tasted August 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
