Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Showing an ideal blend of ripeness and cool climate character, this Australian Meritage emits a charming mix of menthol and dark fruit, most notably cassis, plum, and blueberry. Palate is ripe and fruity. Tannins are firm and persistent, though smooth and round. Acid and body aid in achieving structural harmony. Still young, expect this bottle to improve for another year or two, and evolve for perhaps another seven to nine years. Match with steaks, roasts, and wild game dishes for memorable meals.
Juniper Crossing 2016 is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot red wine blend from Margaret River, Western Australia. Fresh and lively with bright blackberry, plum and dark spice flavours on the palate. Nicely done, well-balanced and easy to enjoy now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
