Dr. Pepper and cherry cola on the nose followed by cherry bubblegum on the palate. Rustic with more of a tannin grip than the other nouveau-style wines in 2014. Finishes with Juicy Fruit purple gum. Pair with red licorice.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale purple, light-bodied, and fruit-driven this wine has more tannic grip than most Nouveau offerings but is balanced by the strawberry and cherry fruit over cinnamon and black pepper spice flavours. Enjoy this refreshing wine with smoked salmon, or pulled pork.
Drink now or keep through 2015.
Date tasted: November 2014.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Pale purple, Light-bodied. Candy floss, strawberry, cherry, black pepper. Grippy tannins over medium+ acidity. Meant to drink now with anything that strikes your fancy.
Tasted: November 2014

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
