J.L. Chave Sélection Silène is a medium-bodied Syrah from Crozes-Hermitage, Rhône, with a balanced weight and dry profile, best served at room temperature. Winemaker J.L. Chave showcases red and dark fruits, wild herbs, iris, and white pepper, supported by juicy texture, solid minerality, and earthy flinty notes reminiscent of Saint Joseph. At 13.5% alcohol, it has excellent aging potential through 2033, developing further depth and complexity. Pair it with roast leg of lamb to complement its savoury earthiness, or turkey to highlight its bright fruit and peppery spice. This wine reflects Rhône winemaking tradition with finesse, structure, and approachable elegance.

Food pairings: roast leg of lamb, turkey, pheasant.
