Jim Barry The Lodge Hill 2018 is a fragrant Shiraz from the Clare Valley wine region in South Australia. Enticing on the nose with loads of blueberry, blackberry and smoky aromas, supple on the palate with ripe dark berry, plum, earthy florals and spicy notes on its medium-bodied frame. Tannins are supple. Grapes for this wine were grown in vineyards at 480 metres above sea level allowing the grapes to fully, evenly ripen and to retain their acidity. Drink or hold.

Shiraz food pairings: prime rib roast with rosemary and garlic, hamburgers stuffed with feta cheese, roasted vegetable stew.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
