From the Loire wine region, Jean Pabiot et Fils Domaine Des Fines Caillottes 2019 Pouilly-Fumé is produced from sustainably-grown Sauvignon Blanc, flinty, smoky and mouth-watering with lemon, grapefruit, fine herbs and briny mineral flavours with acidity that will make your eye wink... in a good way. The Sauvignon Blanc vines thrive in clay limestone and white limestone pebbles known as "caillottes" along with marl, flinty and Kimmeridgian soils. Pour with fresh-steamed mussels, clams, or oysters on the half shell. ?

Pouilly-Fumé food pairings: pan-seared scallops with grilled asparagus, cheese, pasta with cream-based sauce, sushi.
