Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Scrumptious! Ripe guava, pineapple, tangerine, and flinty minerality aromas and flavours have me yearning for more. This medium bodied Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc) is creamy, crisp and shows a long oily fleshy finish. Pair with pan-seared halibut. Tasted Oct 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketatsings.ca
The soils in which the Sauvignon Blanc vines for Cuvée Les Cailottes Sancerre (2015) are located in the Upper Loire region of Sancerre and consist of three main components: Terres Blanches, with lots of fossils and marl creating wines with racy acidity; Caillottes (means small stone), which is limestone and gives wine roundness and good texture; and Silex, which is flint allowing a smoky, flinty character in the wine. - Community Wine Reviews
