Reviews and Ratings

Juicy with lots of bright, mouth-watering acidity. Aromas of tart cherries and small field berries. A little herbal/green but not unpleasant. MINE: This Burgundian Pinot Noir sources grapes grown in the estate's Les Ursulines vineyard, which is located on what was once a convent up until the French Revolution. The Ursuline order of nuns were evicted from their convent. Look for Bing cherry, plum and a touch of sweet spice on the nose and palate. Acidity is fresh on this wine and tannins are rounded. Drink now and until 2022. OTHER: : A smoky version, offering black cherry, blackberry, earth and spice flavors to match the toasty oak. This is succulent and leaves spice and smoke notes on the finish. Drink now through 2021. Score - 90 (Bruce Sanderson, winespectator.com, May 31, 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
