Natalie's Score: 90/100

J. Lohr Hilltop is a full-bodied and grippy red wine blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Smoky and fragrant with ripe blueberry, cherry and dark plum aromas on the nose. Juicy and toasty on the palate with ripe berry, cherry mocha, dark spices wrapped up in a veil of smoke. Nicely done. Pair with a grilled steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes with autumn veggies, rib eye steak on the barbie, meat lover's pizza.

J. Lohr, Hilltop 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is so delish on the nose with dark berry, mocha, toasty oak and smoky aromas on the nose. Full-bodied and juicy with dark berry, black cherry mocha, cedar and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. Decant for one hour prior to pouring with a smoky, braised beef brisket. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
