Reviews and Ratings

Genshu sakes are some of the driest because, unlike most other styles, they are not diluted with water and therefore are bottled at their higher alcohol content – in this case 17% alc./vol. This technique can increase the perception of dryness. There is a lovely fruitiness to this crystal-clear sake. Aromas suggest pear and apple, plus a hint of apricot and even a touch of caramel. There is lots of fruitiness on the palate too, but it is also quite dry. The finish is long and elegant. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
