A complex, juicy and dark Pinot Noir, toasty on the nose with ripe dark cherry, blueberry, earthy cocoa, toasted nut and subtle dried herb flavours on the palate. Good acidity for food. Pour with veal medallions in a rich wild mushroom sauce.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal chops, roast turkey, duck confit.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Willamette Valley, Oregon, Iris Vineyards 2016 Pinot Noir is powerful and vibrant with black cherry, roasted nut, earthy and spicy flavours on the palate and will pair well with a variety of dishes. Tannins are rich. Pour with grilled meats or a pancetta and mushroom risotto. - Community Wine Reviews
