The 1989 vintage of this iconic Icewine earned international acclaim by winning the Grand Prix d'Honneur at Vinexpo. This latest release, presented in a striking "Year of the Snake" Lunar New Year edition, continues to impress. In the glass, it is a golden honey hue and delivers an opulent array of floral, tropical mango, earthy chanterelle, fragrant herbs, and golden raisin notes. Luxuriously rich and layered, this dessert wine is a delight to savour. Perfect alongside raspberry mousse or a bold cheese like Gruyère, it also shines as an accompaniment to a fruit flan.

Vidal food pairings: Raspberry tart, Emmental cheese, raclette cheese, triple cream and blue veined cheeses, rich savoury pates, seared scallops, onion soup, fruit-based desserts especially pear flans and apple crisps.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
