Natalie's Score: 90/100

A polished, cool-climate Chardonnay with aromas of golden apple, ripe pear, and lemon curd, layered with notes of vanilla, toasted almond, and a gentle creaminess from oak aging. It’s medium-bodied, dry, and elegantly textured on the palate, with bright acidity and 13.5% alcohol balancing richness with freshness. Serve it chilled, just above cellar temperature, to allow both fruit and oak nuances to unfold. Fascinating fact: Inniskillin, founded in 1975, is one of Canada’s most influential wineries, recognized internationally for putting Niagara on the world wine map—not just with Icewine, but also with expressive, estate-driven still wines like this Chardonnay. This Reserve bottling will evolve gracefully for 4–6 years, developing honeyed and nutty complexity with age.

Reserve Chardonnay food pairings: butter-poached lobster, where the wine’s acidity and creamy texture echo the dish beautifully. Or serve it with roast chicken and lemon thyme, where its citrus lift and oak spice elevate a comforting classic.
