Lovely depth and roundness in this refreshing white. So much more here than the standard Pinot Grigio: aromas of mouth-wateringly ripe melon and white peach. A perfect aperitif or accompaniment to many dishes.

Winemaker's Series Pinot Gris food pairings: Seared scallops & lobster with rich sauces; creamy pasta dishes; roasted chicken and turkey with lively vegetables..

Grapes were harvest towards the end of September; a portion was barrel fermented and barrel aged in new French oak barrels for 3 months to enhance mouthfeel and complexity; the majority of this wines was cool fermented in stainless steel to preserve the primary fruit characteristics.

Fresh peach, lime and honey on the nose with a round, balanced palate providing tropical fruit, citrus and vanilla flavours with a long smooth finish.
