An old vines, medium-dry gewürztraminer from the Alsace wine region with peach, pear, rose petal and lychee flavours on the palate. Pair with Korean-style ribs, mildly spice curries or grilled pork chops. Very food-versatile. Hunawihr, established in 1954, was the first cooperative in Alsace with the winemaking overseen by Nicolas Garde.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: mildly spiced Thai, Indian cuisine, curries, Asian dishes.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
