A classic Alsatian white with Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Sylvaner wine grapes as well as some Gewürztraminer, Muscat Ottonel and Muscat d'Alsace. Huge Gentil 2016 is perfect as an aperitif or an accompaniment to seafood, pasta and grilled pork dishes. Youthful, juicy and elegant with a floral and mineral nose, ripe pear, apple and softly spiced on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next three years.

Food pairings: seared scallops, sushi, vegetables, herbed chicken, pork dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Huge Gentil 2016 is a soft and fresh Alsatian white wine blend of Pinot Auxerrois/Blanc/Gris, Riesling and Sylvaner wine grapes with a smattering of Gewürztraminer, Muscat Ottonel and Muscat d'Alsace. It has it all. Perfect as an aperitif or an accompaniment to seafood, pasta and grilled pork dishes with its ripe apple, pear, white-fleshed stone fruit, soft citrus and spicy flavours on the palate. Youthful, fresh and to be enjoyed now and for the next two years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
