The Spanish winery of Juan Gil was established in 1916 in the region of Jumilla and is known for its red wines made from the Monastrell grape, which is called Mourvèdre in France. This wine is crafted from 100% Monastrell sourced from chalky and rocky limestone soils. Layers of ripe black and purple plums, ripe cherry, blueberry, garrigue herb and savoury spice flavours on the palate. Pair with meaty stews.

Monastrell food pairings: breaded veal chops, cheesy pizza, barbequed ribs.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
