Lovely balance and vibrancy in this unoaked premier cru Chardonnay from Burgundy's northern region of Chablis! Green apple and lime mingle with your senses on the nose of this Old World chardonnay that has no oak. White peach and wet stone on a long finish. Terrific! Pair with roast chicken or turkey.

Chablis food pairings: seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Yum! This Premier Cru white Burgundy from 100% Chardonnay grapes is a brilliant pale lemon in the glass. Light, crisp, fresh and unoaked with intense aromas and flavours of apple, pear, caramel, citrus, zest, and stoney minerality. Medium+ acidity and light-bodied. This Premier Cru is worth every cent of your $30 outlay. Sip on it's own now or enjoy over the next 5 years. Pair with creamy French cheeses, grilled chicken, chicken fajitas.
Tasted: February 2015
The French winery is located between the hamlets of Poincy and Beines in the heart of the Chablis appellation, famous for unoaked Chardonnay. The style here is not as steely as many Chablis wines, with a bit more ripeness of the fruit yet still zesty. - Community Wine Reviews
