Dark and spicy, this is a great value for the money. Black tarry fruit and toast and smoke. Pair with hearty meat dishes.

Food pairings: chicken paprika, meat-filled pasta with rich tomato sauce, grilled pork chops, gourmet burgers.

From the Alentejo wine region, Herdade Peso Trinca Bolotas Tinto (2015) is a great value Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Aragonês red wine blend under $20. The Aletejo pig featured on the front bottle wanders freely in the region's oat forests, feasting on a diet rich in acorns. It's native to Europe and the only species of grazing pig Europe. Pair with roast suckling pig. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
