This Ben Glaetzer wine delivers amazing quality and taste for the money. Redolent of big black plums and lots of mouth-watering acidity on the palate. Great wine for hearty meat dishes. Finishes with black pepper and smoke. Highly recommended.

Food pairings: steak, cheeseburger.

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Wins points for everyday value $15. Deep ruby colour with legs showing some extraction on the glass. Aromas and flavours of fleshy plum, Swedish candy berries and a little jammy. A blend of Shiraz, Cab Sauv, Granache and Merlot is full-bodied for sure with surprisingly high acidity. Don't expect much more and you have a pretty good party wine. Decent length on a warming alcohol and pepper finish. Pair with grilled hamburger.
Tasted: January 2016
This wine is created by Australian winemaker, Ben Glaetzer, and is a robust red wine blend of 46% Cabernet, 44% Shiraz, 5% Grenache and 5% Merlot grapes. Lots of black fruit and toasty oak -- a very easy wine to enjoy. - Community Wine Reviews
