Reviews and Ratings

Fav Wines rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Here is a unique opportunity to sample a ten year old red for under twenty dollars. This dry medium bodied wine has a very unique taste. Hints of vanilla, tobacco and plum are very noticeable on the nose. Blackberry and plum are very noticeable when tasting this red. Spain produces some great tasting wines. This one is a clear example of that. This wine pairs well with cajun flavoured food. Cheers!
Linda rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

We had the 2009 with wrap-ups it was good. It was recommended by a guy at Banville
The 2005 vintage of the Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva is a full-bodied Spanish red wine blend of 90% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 5% Garnacha grapes. The wine was matured for 20 months in French and American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
