Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Good autolysis as this bouquet leads with dough, biscuit, and yeast before apple, lemon, and subtle floral aromas move in. Weighty palate with good texture thanks to the extended lees contact. Crisp acidity, extra dry palate, fresh apple and lemon flavours. Very clean as minerality appears on the back palate through the long finish. Pair with lobster and butter for a fancy evening, or buttered popcorn on movie night for a casual night.
Guy Charlemagne is a medium-bodied, bone-dry, non-vintage champagne with a 50% blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir produced in temperature-controlled vats. Lovely persistent bubbles, persistent on the palate with ripe apple, pear, Mirabelle plum, citrus and brioche flavours on the palate. Well-structured and elegant. Pair with a celebration of the summer solstice. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
