Reviews and Ratings

Classic Gewurztraminer aromas of rose petal, lychee and baking spices in this dry Alsatian white wine. Pair with mild curries. MINE: Alsace is known for its aromatic Gewurztraminers, and this one is no exception. Lovely floral profusion on the nose followed by white peach and pear on the palate. OTHER: Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: A delicate nose with signature rose and lychee. Perfumey rose petals on the palate along with smoky tropical fruit. Off-dry, smoky, spicy tropical finish. Would be superb with strong cheeses, Indian cuisine or smoked fish. OTHER: Pale yellow straw color. Perfumed, floral, inviting aromas of lush tropical flowers, overripe pineapple, fresh cilantro, and whipped cream with a round, crisp, off-dry body and a delightful, medium-length bruised pineapple, tuberose, caramelized passion fruit, and Chinese five spice finish with fine, fruit tannins and no oak. A delectable floral white with ample fruit. Exceptional. Score - 90 (The Beverage Testing Institute, tastings.com, March 3, 2017). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
