Lots of gripping and dry tannins with acidity on the palate of this full-bodied Italian red wine with sour chary notes and tobacco smoke. Needs tomato sauce or a tangy dish.

Food pairings: pork shanks in red cabbage and onion, red peppers stuffed with mince pork onion garlic and tomato sauce, stir fried shredded pork and Asian vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

A non-traditional Italian red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes grown on the winery's estate vineyards, near the village of Bolgheri close to the Tuscan coastline. The wine is aged for 8 months in oak casks and then another 4 months in bottle before being released. - Community Wine Review

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
