Great structure on this rich and sensuous Californian Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot and Petit Verdot, concentrated with black fruit, baking spices and smoky, long finish. Tannins are polished.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: fried chicken in pineapple peach sauce, tripe Florentine style, mushroom ragout.

Reviews and Ratings

Groth 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and layered Cab from the Oakville wine region. Smoky with ripe dark fruit, baking spice, red berry and blackberry, wild herb flavours, elegant and silky on the palate. Really beautifully done, pour with a grilled filet mignon. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
