Lots of racy acidity on the palate for fresh seafood and shellfish. Perfect chilled aperitif. Aromas of chives, grass and lemon zest. Medium-bodied, no oak.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: green salads topped with herbed goat cheese, pan-fried panfish, asparagus and caramelized onion galette.

Reviews and Ratings

Greywacke Wild Sauvignon 2014 is a dry and flinty Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, South Island. The grapes for this vintage were fermented with natural yeasts. On the nose the wine is pronounced fresh herbs, smoky and flinty. On the palate, the wine is herbal, smoky and finishes crisp and long. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
