Cracked black pepper and seductive spice notes o this nose of this full-bodied Argentine red wine. Fleshy dark fruit and toasty oak on the nose and palate. The 2012 vintage of Graffigna is quaffable, robust and well-priced. Pair this robust Argentine wine, made from the country's iconic red wine grape Malbec, with hearty meat dishes.

Malbec food pairings: steak, hamburgers, herbed chicken, hard cheese, turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Winemaker Ignacio Lopez has produced a terrific Argentine Malbec from vines planted at high-altitudes resulting in thicker skins on the grapes, more contact with wine skins during fermentation and generally, a more flavourable wine. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. - Community Wine Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
