Gomersal Wines' Grenache from Barossa Valley, South Australia is a generous, medium to full-bodied red wine showcasing notes of red plum, raspberry, anise and roasted almond. This dry wine displays supple tannins and bright fruit that will continue to evolve over the next five years. Serve it at room temperature with herb-roasted chicken thighs as the wine's red fruit complements the savory seasoning, or pair it with grilled veal chops where the wine's silky texture matches the tender meat. Winemaker Barry Salter crafts this expressive Grenache from old Barossa vines, where the region's warm climate and ancient soils produce wines of remarkable concentration while maintaining freshness. Gomersal Wines has been family-owned since 1887 and represents one of the Barossa Valley's historic estates, with generations of winemaking experience dedicated to showcasing traditional Australian varieties. This succulent Grenache represents excellent value and will drink beautifully through 2030.

Grenache Shiraz Mataro food pairings: pepper steak, veal cutlets, grilled chicken dishes.
