A masterfully crafted single malt that combines power, precision, and elegance—much like the Formula 1 cars that inspired it. It opens with captivating aromas of baked apple, honeycomb, and vanilla pod, layered with hints of oak spice, dried fruit, and toasted almond. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and silky, offering flavours of caramelized pear, malted barley, and gentle oak, all balanced by a long, warming finish with whispers of cinnamon and toffee. Bottled at 43% alcohol, it delivers refined intensity and effortless smoothness. Serve it neat to appreciate its craftsmanship, or with a single drop of water to unlock its aromatic depth. Fascinating fact: This limited-edition release marks Glenfiddich’s collaboration with Aston Martin’s Formula 1 team, celebrating both brands’ shared pursuit of innovation, heritage, and precision engineering. Matured in a combination of American and European oak casks, it showcases Glenfiddich’s signature Speyside richness elevated by rare cask selection.

Single Malt Scotch Whisky food pairings: roasted hazelnuts and dried apricots, where its honeyed spice complements the nutty sweetness. Or savour it with a slice of sticky toffee pudding, where the whisky’s caramel and oak notes echo the dessert’s indulgent warmth.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
