Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

For someone whole likes a full bodied wine, I find the French Gigondas a true hit! This is a good version, i definitely enjoyed it, but….. i found it to be rather over priced compared to some other stunning Gigondas.
That having been said, it is a wine that starts with a quick floral punch, and almost a little too light for my liking, but then a long spicy dryness makes it's presence. As the tannins continue there is a real presence of woodenness and a slight background note of fruit . For those who don't enjoy too much white wine in the cooler months, this is a great red to have with an aromatic tomato , garlic, chicken dish and a nice side order of potato gratiné!
Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
