Giacomo Mori Chianti from Tuscany is a pure, medium-bodied Sangiovese of real charm and vivacity, crafted by one of Chianti's most dedicated independent producers who has spent decades championing the variety with an uncompromising focus on terroir and authenticity. Bright ruby in the glass, it enchants with a nose of dried hibiscus, blood orange and a delicate suggestion of sun-dried tomato, flowing into flavours of pomegranate, cardamom and a whisper of forest floor on the palate, all lifted by gossamer tannins and a snappy, mouthwatering acidity that gives this wine its irresistible, food-friendly energy. It is bone dry and best served just below room temperature, drinking beautifully now and evolving gracefully through 2030. Giacomo Mori is a small, family-run estate that has quietly built a devoted following among lovers of authentic, terroir-driven Chianti, producing wines that speak directly of their Tuscan origins without the intervention or artifice that can sometimes mask a wine's true character. Serve it with a meat pizza fresh from a wood-fired oven, where the wine's bright acidity and pomegranate fruit will cut through the rich tomato sauce and melted cheese with ease, or pair it with a hearty meat-filled pasta in a slow-cooked tomato ragù, letting its snappy acidity and earthy undertones weave beautifully into every satisfying bite.

Chianti food pairings: meat pizza, meat-filled pasta with rich tomato sauce, vegetarian lasagne.
