A vibrant, zesty southern French sparkling wine from a well-respected producer. This bubbly leads with Chardonnay, but also has some Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes. The wine is named in honour of Thomas Jefferson, who loved Limoux sparkling wines. Aromas of brioche, freshly baked bread and melting butter with Asian pear. Match with fresh seafood. Perfect for holiday gatherings.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a well executed, budget-friendly sparkling rose that delivers for its price. A rare blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Mauzac - It has a charming simplicity of pears, citrus and apricots on the palate. Very approachable and quite smooth.
From the Languedoc wine region, Gérard Bertrand's Crémant De Limoux Rosé, Thomas Jefferson Brut 2017, is made in the Traditional Methode from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir wine grapes. Love this toasty Limoux with ripe peach, soft orange citrus flavours delivered on a zesty mousse. Perfect chilled on its own with creamy cheeses or a smoked salmon quiche. - Community Wine Reviews
