From the Haute Vallée De L'aude, Languedoc wine region, the grapes for Gérard Bertrand Domaine De L'aigle 2021 Pinot Noir were sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Languedoc that are also cooled by ocean breezes giving the wine fresh and pure fruit flavours of ripe raspberry, red currant, bright cherry, cedar brush, sweet baking spices and a touch of fine dried herbs. Lightly chill and enjoy with duck confit, small roasted potatoes and pearl onions.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled chicken dishes, veal scaloppini, duck confit.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
