Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses 2021 Chardonnay is great value at $20. A dry, medium-bodied and fresh Chardonnay, grapes for this vintage were sourced from vines thriving in limestone and schist soils in high-altitude vineyards near the sea in the Languedoc. The wine is fragrant with aromas of ripe yellow apple, pear, ripe peach, tropical fruit, citrus zest flavours and minerally notes satin-silky on the palate. Chill and enjoy it on its own or pour with a pork tenderloin en croute.

Chardonnay food pairings: seafood salad, chilled prawns with strawberry champagne dressing, seafood ceviche.
