Reviews and Ratings

Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Terrifically fruity on the nose, with lots of red bramble fruit and some typical notes of printers ink and lead pencil. The slightest note of green pepper combined with the intense florals suggest a bit of franc in the cuvée, which is medium bodied, berry laden and really delicious. If this wine could talk it would say 'drink me now' - when your wine talks, you can't argue! Enjoy with pork sausages, black olive tapenade, onion tart. Delicious, excellent value.
Tom Vigeant rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Classic cab nose of black currants, cedar, a touch of vegetal aromas and oak. Firm tannins, full bodied, dry. Tannic finish.
Melissa Pulvermacher reviewed this wine as follows:

Delicious and easy to drink with notes of violet, pepper and black fruit. For $13.95 in LCBO General List, you can’t go wrong for a simple and easy drinking red everyone will enjoy.
