From the Côtes De Provence, Gassier Sables' D'azur (2016) is not only distinctive because of its curvy bottle, it's flavours of fresh wild strawberry, bright acidity and pink florals on the palate is a summer picnic in a glass. Pair with creamy cheeses, charcuterie or grilled chicken.

Food pairings: wine-braised duck, grilled goose breast in cherry wine sauce, duck breasts with bacon and onions.

Reviews and Ratings

A lovely, bright Côtes De Provence rosé produced by Gassier. Sables D'azur 2018 is a medium-bodied, floral-fragrant Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah rosé blend, bone-dry with wild strawberry, dried herb and white pepper spice flavours on the palate with fresh acidity for food. Pair with cold chicken sandwiches. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
