Bright red berry and fruit notes on this medium- to full-bodied blend of cabernet sauvignon (63%), petit verdot (18%), merlot (13%), cabernet franc and shiraz. Tart cherry notes make your mouth water. There's a touch of spice on the finish. Superb, especially for this price.

Food pairings: roasted vegetables, red sauced pastas or hearty stews.

Our 2009 Regatta #1 Red is balanced and rich
in texture, with aromas of black fruit and a
hint of spice. Lush fruit flavours and a touch of cocoa lead to a lingering finish.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
