Gorgeously flavourful and rich, but not heavy. This medium sweet German Riesling offers lovely aromas of fresh apricot and fleshy peach. Enjoy with a fruit-based dessert like a cobbler, crumble or flan.

Riesling Kabinett food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This medium-sweet German Riesling is pale lemon in colour with medium+ acidity. An intense nose of apple, pear, floral, matchstick, and sweet spices. The palate is rich and medium-bodied with the addition of apricot and nectarine. A lingering over ripe sweet apple finish. Enjoy with warm apple pie a la mode. Serve chilled.
Tasted: May 2015
The vines for this medium sweet German Riesling are planted in blue slate and that minerality shows through in the wine itself. Pair with medium curries and spicy dishes, including Asian fare. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
