Natalie's Score: 91/100

A medium-plus-bodied Chardonnay from the Napa Valley fermented in stainless-steel tank and aged in French oak barrels giving the wine a creamy and luxurious mouthfeel. Look for fresh peach, fresh pineapple, melon, cinnamon and toasty flavours finishing long on the palate.

Chardonnay food pairings: scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, grilled chicken breast, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Napa Valley, Freemark Abbey 2017 Chardonnay is fresh on the nose with tropical fruit, pineapple, melon and lemon meringue pie aromas on the nose. Full-bodied, rich and creamy on the palate with baked apple pie, lemon pudding, cinnamon and ginger spice flavours long on the palate. No malo treatment on this vintage, but what a lovely mouthfeel to the wine. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
