Frankland Rocky Gully 2019 is a great value Frankland River Cab at $20. A rich and vibrant medium-bodied red wine blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 19% Malbec, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance in Petit Verdot, grapes for this vintage were sourced from the certified-organic Frankland Estate (in 2010) in Frankland River, and the coolest and most isolated wine-growing region in Western Australia. Fresh with bright red currant, plum, black olive, cedar brush spice, fine herbs, chocolate and vanilla flavours mouth-watering on the palate, it finishes on an earthy note with a touch of sweet tobacco. What can you ask for more at this price, except for more?
